The final xbox360 extender uses the wireless 802.11 b, it's the only thing using it and the old MCE 2005 has no problems streaming flawless 1080i to it, we've been using it for months in that config. Last night I switched my 3 xbox 360 extenders back to using my MCE 2005, everything works great.
